About Us

Our Mission
At Boys and Girls Club of Washington County, it is our mission to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.

Core Beliefs
A Boys & Girls Club Provides:
A safe place to learn and grow...
Ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals...
Life-enhancing programs and character development experiences...

How We Do It
Boys & Girls Club participants  receive  homework assistance, life-skill instruction, nutrition and health information, access to technology, and are engaged in character building exercises.

Most Importantly...
Youth are given the opportunity to grow as individuals in a safe, nurturing environment supervised by dedicated professionals.

What Makes A Club Special?
  • Dedicated Youth Facility  --The Boys & Girls Club is a place, an actual neighborhood-based building, designed soley for youth programs and activities.
  • Open Daily -- The Club is open every day after school and in the summer when kids have free time and need positive, productive outlets.
  • Professional Staff  --Every Club has trained youth development professionals, positive role models and caring mentors. Volunteers provide key supplementary support.
  • Available/Affordable to All Youth  -- Clubs reach out to kids who cannot afford, or may lack access to other community programs.
