Thanks to the Washington County community, the 19th Annual Steak & Burger Dinner was a huge success raising over $30,000 for the Boys & Girls Club of Washington County.  Bobby Huggins, coach of the West Virginia Mountaineers basketball team, was the keynote speaker.  Kirksten Mitchell, a graduating Senior from North Hagerstown High School received the coveted Youth of the Year Award and the $1,500 scholarship that it includes from the Aasand Family Foundation.  Kirksten also used the Steak & Burger Dinner to publicly announce that she will be staying within the State of Maryland to play basketball in college at Coppin State University.
